2020 is here, and it’s the best time to make new year resolutions. We all make resolutions every year in our minds and that’s a great thing. But, wouldn’t it be better if we have someone or something to always remind us of our resolutions so that we won’t lose the track? Using a To-Do list app also makes sense because in the era of technology we miss out on some work in our busy lives. For people who always tell themselves they will go to the gym from next Monday,  a to-do list app is a must-have.

To keep yourself focused on your goals, here are the top 5 to-do list apps that will really help you to give a fresh start. All these apps are available for Android as well as iOS.

Microsoft To Do (by Microsoft)

Microsoft’s To-Do list app is pretty amazing. This 10MB app gives you a ton of options; you can create daily routine work in my day tab and list something important in the important tab. Additionally, users can create groups, lists and a lot more. One thing I like most about this app is by creating a business account you can assign tasks for your colleagues. As it comes with office 365 integration, Task lists are compiled from the apps and services across Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel and more.

What’s good?

  • A ton of options
  • Separate Business account feature
  • Ads-free
  • Dark Mode available

Any.do (by Any.do)

Any.do is another great app to create tasks. The best thing about this app is you can connect the app with Alexa and Google Assistant to get the reminder and can also add tasks. In the app, you can add different types of tasks or create a list like a grocery list and can share it with your contacts. You can prioritise tasks by adding tags and colours.  You can assign tasks to each other and can chat within the app which is a really cool feature, isn’t it?

TickTick (by Appest Inc)

TickTick is pretty much similar to the other apps. With this app, you can create tasks, reminders and notes. But what I find unique in this, is the Habit option. The Habit option helps you to form some good habits like meditation, exercise, or reading etc. Also, you can create folders like “Office” to arrange office tasks in a place. There is one thing that makes this app unique, is the app comes with a number of sound options you can choose to get the notification.

What’s good?

  • Can create a Habit
  • Ads-free
  • Dark Mode available

Bonus

We also have a bonus app for you. It is a widget named “Stuff- Todo”. The app is only available on Android. In this widget, you can quickly add your daily tasks. However, you cannot select a specific time to notify yourself. According to me, it’s more like a daily planner. You can add this to your home screen to remind yourself about your daily plans.
