Jio increases prepaid plan prices up to 40 percent, and will give 300 percent additional benefits


Reliance Jio on Sunday made an announcement of their new upcoming “All-in-one” or AIO plan, which is priced 40% higher than current plans. Jio also said to give up to 300% more benefits. These new plans will be active from December 6 2019.

However, the company hasn’t provided any further details about its new AIO plan. Jio is India’s largest telecom firm with more than 355 million customers. The press statement came on Sunday evening after Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel announced their respective tariff plans hikes up to 42%.


The company said that it is determined to “benefit Indian consumers and take measures including [an] appropriate increase in tariffs in a manner that does not adversely impact data consumption or growth in digital adoption and sustains investments.”

“While remaining committed to the ultimate interest of the consumer, Jio will take all necessary steps to help sustain the Indian telecommunications industry,” the company said in the statement.

Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel’s new plans will come into the effort from Tuesday, December 3. The updated plans of Vodafone will be available between Rs 149 to Rs 2,399, and the company also introduced an unlimited prepaid plan at Rs19 to offer 150 MB data and unlimited voice calling on Vodafone Idea network for two days. Similarly, the Bharti Airtel plans starts from Rs 19 and goes up to Rs 1,99. The operator also claimed that the new traffic plan will be in the range of 50 paise per day to Rs 2.85 per day.

WhatsApp new beta update for Android brings a self-destructing message


WhatsApp follows features of other messaging services like Telegram and Snapchat have, from old but hot status feature to new self-destruction message. It’s become a tradition to copy other features. The new self-destruction feature works the same as its name suggests. This feature has been released by WhatsApp on its Android Beta version number 2.19.348.

As the feature is similar to Telegram’s ‘Disappearing messages’ this time WhatsApp at least changed the name to ‘Delete Messages’. For starters, this feature will available on group chats and the user can control the feature. Users can choose the time and duration of the message. And for the selected time the message will be visible to the other group members. After the time is up the delivered message in the group will vanish. Users can select from an hour, a day, a month to 1 year.

This feature may come in handy for small events like you are throwing a party and sent an invitation message in the group and then you can select the ‘Delete Messages’ time for like a day. Then, if some of your group members saw the message the next day don’t worry the invitation has already vanished.

The feature is only for the Android beta users first. If you are not in the beta program you have to wait for the stable update. There are some other features in development like the ‘Dark Mode’ feature. Reported this feature will roll out for the iOS users first, users with the iOS 13 will also enjoy more features like call waiting support, chat screen redesign, etc.

Realme X50 5G and X50 (Youth Edition) 5G specification leaked: may launch with 60MP Quad camera and wireless charging


Realme has confirmed that it is working on its first 5G smartphone and the smartphone will be named Realme X50. Today, a poster appeared on the Facebook page of the Realme fans that reveals the specification of the X50 5G phone. Additionally, the image also reveals the specification of another phone called the Realme X50 Lite (Youth Edition).

The Company earlier confirmed the name of its first 5G smartphone and also revealed some of its features. The device It will feature a pill-shaped punch-hole camera at the upper-left corner of the display. It looks similar to the Redmi K30 5G smartphone that is scheduled to launch in China next month. Moreover, the phone will support dual-mode 5G connectivity.

According to the rumours, the Realme X50 5G will feature a 6.44-inch S-AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Leaks also suggest that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 735 5G chipset. However, the Chipset is yet to be officially announced. The phone could launch in two different RAM and storage variants, 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage. In the camera department, it could be equipped with four cameras on the back with a 60 MP Sony IMX 686 primary sensor. For selfies, it may feature a 32 MP + 8 MP dual-camera setup. It is also said that this will be the company’s first device to support wireless charging.

Realme X50 5G Specs

As the name Lite suggest this would be a cheaper variant of the X50 5G with a similar specification. According to the leaks, It will feature a larger 6.55-inch IPS LCD panel by JDI that will support 60Hz refresh rate. The device would be fueled by a MediaTek MT6885 5G chipset which is also yet to be officially announced. The device is also equipped with a quad-camera setup on the back. Which includes a 16MP primary camera with an 8 MP camera and two 2 MP cameras. For selfies, it may sport a 32 MP single camera.

The leaks has no information about the launch date and the pricing of both devices. But, it will be interesting to see which device will make its debut first here in India Realme X50 5G or the Redmi K30 5G.


Nokia 8.2 could launch on December 5 along with the Nokia 2.3 and 5.2: Everything you need to know


The Nokia 8.2 is the successor of Nokia 8.1 and HMD Global could launch the device on December 5. Earlier this week, the company posted a teaser video on its official Nokia mobile twitter account. However, the video gives zero information about anything except the launch date i.e, Dec 5.

The device has made multiple unofficial appearances on the web. According to these appearances, it is said that the Nokia 8.2 will be the company’s first 64 MP quad-camera smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera. The selfie camera could house a 32 MP sensor. The phone could feature up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of inbuilt storage and may run on Snapdragon 730 processor. The Nokia 8.2 is also expected to come with 5G support., If the rumours are true, the device will be Nokia’s first 5G phone.

According to the reports, the Nokia 8.2 is not the only smartphone that HMD Global is working on. The Company is also planing to launch the Nokia 2.3 and 5.2 budget phone. Ahead of their official launch the key specs of both devices have already leaked online. The Nokia 2.3 will be an entry-level phone running on a MediaTek processor-based on Android Pie. It will feature a 6.1-inch full HD display, a 3,940 mAh battery and Bluetooth  5.0. Recently, the Nokia 2.2 got a major price drop in India and is now available for 5,999.

Reno3 Series will be the first smartphone to run ColorOS 7


Oppo has launched it’s ColorOS 7 at an event in China and it will launch in India on November 26. Alongside ColorOS 7, the Company also announced that the Reno3 Series will be the first smartphone lineup to run ColorOS 7 out of the box. This is the first we have heard about the series and it is said to be launched in December.

In a post on Weibo, the phone maker announced that the Reno3 series will come with dual-mode 5G support, which means that the device will be compatible with both NSA and SA standards. However, it is not known if the Reno3 series will run on Android 10. In the post, Oppo also revealed the rollout dates for ColorOS 7 on different devices. But, these updates will roll out only for smartphones in China.

For the selfie front, it would get a 32 MP camera.

Vivo U series’s next smartphone U20 is ready to launch in India. The smartphone has been teased intensively by the company. The device will launch with the same waterdrop-style notch and triple rear camera at the back just like its predecessor. It will sport a blue gradient back panel finish and a rear fingerprint sensor.

According to the Amazon India teaser page, the Vivo U20 will sport a 6.53-inch full HD+ waterdrop-style notch display and it will also come with Widevine L1 certification. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and a (UFS 2.1) 64GB internal storage.

On the front, there is a 16 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.


Xiamoi new device certified could be the Poco F2


A new Xiaomi device has received approval from the 3C authority of China. It has a model number M1912G7BE / BC. However, there is no information about the device name, but it looks like it’s the much-awaited Poco F2.

There is no official information to confirm that the M1912G7BE/ BC is the Poco F2. But, the 3C certification revealed that the device could come with 27W rapid charger. In October, the same model was certified by the National Radio Agency of China.

Recently, the case fo the upcoming Poco F2 was spotted on the website of Spigen. The image of the case suggests that the device could come with a notch-less display with a pop-up selfie camera. Rumours also suggest that the device may sport a polycarbonate body just like its predecessor Poco F1

Xioami is planning to launch a couple of flagship smartphones before the end of 2019. Mi Mix 4 which will be a 5G device, Redmi K30 series with 5G support are some of the smartphones in the list.
