Realme X2 launched in India with Quad camera, Snapdragon 730G and more

Realme just launched its Realme X2 in India. The same smartphone was launched in China in September 2019 with the name called Realme XT 730G. This new smartphone comes with a gaming processor. The G in the name of Snapdragon 730 G is for Gaming. And with this device realme is trying to attract gaming audience in India.

The Realme X2 comes with a water-style display notch. The device comes with a Hyperbolic pattern and spectral gradient design in the rear side. It is the same gradient design which we have seen in Realme XT. The rear side of the smartphone looks identical to the RealmeXT. If you see both smartphones side by side from the rear side you can’t tell which one is the X2 expect the colours. The X2 comes in three colour variants which are Pearl Green, Pearl white and Pearl blue.

The device comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. It has 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection in both rear and front side and it also has a 3D glass design in the rear side. The device also supports such as DC-like dimming and night more for eye care. Further, for security it has an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. And as mentioned earlier, it is powered by the Snapdragon 730G, paired with Adreno 618 GPU. 

In the optics department, it rocks quad-camera in the rear side that includes 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with 119 field-of-view and two 2MP sensors for macro and portrait shots. For the selfie lovers, it has a 32MP front camera with an f/2 aperture. The camera comes with features like super night scope, Anti-shake, video bokeh, super-wide video, and HDR. The phone is also capable of recording 4K video @ 30fps and 960fps slow-motion video in HD.

The smartphone comes in three different RAM variants 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB Internal Storage. The device also has an SD card slot that supports up to 256GB. The Android version of the phone is 9 “Pie” colour OS version is 6.1. It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 30W vooc 4.0 Flash Charge technology.

The starting price of Realme X2 is Rs 16,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB variant will cost Rs 18,999 and the top-of-the-line 8GB + 128GB variant will cost Rs 19,999. The phone will go on sale from 20th December 2019 through Flipkart and Realme India online stores.
